IMAGO is a persistent artificial-life simulation powered by SAPIENS APOTHESIS. Talk with Subject 001, interact with their environment, and observe how experiences influence their memories, emotions, relationships, and decisions.
- Persistent memory: Experiences and conversations can influence future responses.
- Changing internal state: Simulated moods, personality, and physical needs shape behaviour.
- Continuity across sessions: Save, close the game, and return to the same developing life.
- Local AI: Dialogue runs on your computer, with no AI subscription or API key required.
- Guided installation: Python is included, and first setup automatically downloads the required AI runtime and models.
Getting started
Extract the download, run the installer, launch IMAGO, and follow the setup screen. First setup downloads roughly 10 GB of AI components; allow around 20 GB of free disk space.
Requires Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11, x64. 16 GB RAM or more is recommended. A supported GPU improves AI response speed; CPU-only responses can be slow.
This is an early public development build. Bugs and performance limitations may occur.
